Default Front End Suspension

Anyone change out their LCAs or any other components when replacing their coilovers and UCAs (I'm planning on using the Stage 5 Icon kit)? Haven't found too many...one i did see was dirt logics but not really any others. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Anyone have any suggestions or past experience with replacing stock LCAs?

The only reason would be going to a mid-travel kit which would then extend the track width, etc. otherwise I don't think the stock LCA's are limiting in any way. What are you wanting them for?

Ask Warsurfer, he may be able to help you. He did this thread on mid travel and long travel suspensions.

Thanks, my thought was that stock would be just fine for the kit I have. I do normal off roading and occassional driving through sand when on I'm on vacation...on the beaches that actually allow me to...

I think I was more curious than anything since a lot of the kits i see will typically only have the UCAs and no LCAs.

The UCA's are limiting with the ball joint, which is why all of the aftermarket ones use a uniball. The LCA isn't limiting the same way hence no reason to upgrade it.
