Call multiple body shops to get quotes, have it resprayed THEN have the clear bra applied.
I would NOT spray it with bed liner, looks terrible (sorry guys, just IMO).

I just asked at local line x last week when I got my bed about colors(especially the tri colors, premium paints). He said they have a tough time with those and actually use a GM red that's almost identical for ruby red.

Probably not a huge issue for the bed, but not bumpers. Normal colors they can match though

Not hurting my feelings, IMO Line-X looks better than a chipped up front bumper and fascia. And worrying about re-finishing every two years.

I drive lots of miles and mine's a work truck.

BTW, I have an Avery clear bra on my fun car, rocks will still ding it.

Black liner maybe. PTM still has the liner texture so it so I don't see the point in it. I've seen PTM bed done and it was okay.

How did they do it? Painted over the liner material, or was the paint mixed in with the spray?

I don't know. It was in a truck parked on the street I walked by one day. Ruby red too.

What clear bra do you guys recommend? My truck is officially retired from winter duty as I picked up an Infiniti, and now I want to get the front bumper resprayed and put a clear bra on it to keep it nice. I plan on keeping my truck for a long time.

Depends on what is available in your area. Just remember that installation is the key. After you get your front bumper resprayed you will have to wait to install the film until the paint stops out gassing. Luckily that's much quicker than it used to be.

Xpel Ultimate is one of the best and I've had good results with it.
