Default Front bumper took a beating this year with rock chips

What do you guys think it would cost to get my front bumper repainted if I removed it myself and brought it to them ?

Couple hundred bucks?

What about having it sprayed with a bed liner? Or having the clear bra put on? That way it wont happen again.

If they are done right they do. Make sure they have a lifetime warranty on chipping, peeling, fading, etc.

Clear bra is only good when it gets put on BEFORE the chips happen. After there are chips, it's just protecting the chipped paint and will look terrible. I put my clear bra on when the truck was brand new.

But here's what I have now:

The build thread for the bumper is in the fabrication section. The truck bed liner is really great stuff for protecting things. Got my rocker panels done as well.

I looked into line-x but am opting for vinyl wrap. You would have to clean up any rust though. If I had a black truck then line-x would be my choice. I think my local guy wanted $300. A cheaper liner product was Bullet Liner http://www.bulletliner.com

Curiosity got the best of me. Is it possible to spray bedliner over chrome, and then PTM? Just an idea I've got running through the brain pan.

You can get colored Line-X, not sure if you can get FoMoCo paint codes now.

Maybe I'll give a LineX dealer a call. I think it would be interesting to find out if they actually mix paint with the liner. That way, you could possibly just supply the paint.
The other day, I saw a 150 in a parking lot, that looked like bedliner on his bumper that was colour matched to his truck, Tuxedo Black. Looked pretty good. I forgot all about it until this thread.
