I don't think the OP posted any before pics.

I'd be a little hesitant about doing the headlights and tail lights- apparently it doesn't produce good results: https://www.reddit.com/r/plastidip/c...headlightsbra/

If you go heavy on the last coats of plastidip it will also improve the shine and smoothness. I did glossifier on my rims and it made them a bit tacky, like a rubber feel.

they dont show show up on my pics. There were quite a few pit marks from the normal rocks and junk kicking up. The plasti-dip is easier to clean, and touch up. Just spray some more on.

plus, I just had to do something with my truck on a nice day.

I was going to use glossifier when I did my bumpers and grill but read the same thing.. Decided to pass on it.

Ended up doing mine this weekend. They had a sale on Dark Gray but it had a blueish tint in sunlight so I top coated with Anthracite Gray. I also covered all of my remaining chrome with Matte Clear Plasti-dip and it gave it a brushed nickle look. I'm chrome free with a total black out.

Good idea with the clear over the chrome, looks great! I'm going to have to give that a try

thanks,

It goes on like spray adhesive though! I also did the F-150 badges and all 5 handles... I wanted to do vinyl wrap on the grille but will stick with this for now. It looks like the platinum grille finish in person.
