Front brakes at 43k miles
You guys weren't kidding, brakes were throwing a lot of dust on my new rims so I went to install some Wagner OEX ceramic pads.
My original pads were fried at 43,300 miles, inner pads had about 1/2 the material left compared to the outers. Rotors were all full of ridges as well.
I used the Wagner premium e-coated rotors for the replacements.
I don't tow, I don't ride the brakes etc, never had a factory set of pads wear out in this mileage, they looked pretty gnarly.

Yup, sticky caliper issue or else the pad is binding. Clean the calipers and grease the slides.

Something ain't right. I have basically the same truck with 73,000 miles and had it in the shop for it's yearly check-up. Mechanic measured my pads and told me I still have right at 50% left. Told me to have them checked again in 20,000 miles.

Yea... I'm at almost 57k and my front are just now getting worn and the rotors are still servicable. This is all city stop and go every day too.
I agree with Skwerl, probably the slides or a binding pad.

I cleaned and greased the pins which weren’t sticking when I took them out during disassembly.
Also installed new clips with thin application of silglyde. The new pads fit in freely.

Somebody drove that truck with their left foot on the brake pedal. And every single person who does it denies that they do it. They all claim they are just 'holding their foot over the pedal'.

My OEX have 30k miles and are doing great compared to the stock's and Autozone versions.
