Randomly stumbled across this as I'm trying to diagnose my blinker issue. But the Power Steering Control Module as-built changes between the lower trim trucks and the higher trim trucks by 1 digit. Any thoughts on what this change would be by anyone? Also, what's interesting is I notice the As-built data downloaded from the web does not include the Steering Column Control Module...

I'm talking about 730-01-01 My XLT and lower trucks as well as the non-pimped FX4's have 013A, and the pimped FX4's on up all seem to have 023B, therefore the only change being the 2nd digit as the last two is just the check sum. This is for most 2013's and 2014's that I've examined, however There's a 2014 Tremor that I have the as-built for that has 063F. I haven't dug into a ton of '14's, just two platinums. Doesn't seem to matter which engine either. So...I'm curious.

Power Steering Control Module as-built?
Steering Column Control Module?

Are you talking about one thing here or two?

Well. According to the manual's there is indeed two different modules, however I'm wondering if in the terms of the as-built's they're one in the same.

I believe it's 2 different modules. Power steering control module is for the electric power assist steering module, and steering column control module is for the controls on the steering wheel and various other stuff(Multi function switch, etc.)

Are you looking at trucks with the same wheelbase and payload?

The higher trimmed trucks have memory steering column with power telescopic and tilt functions. My as built has the power steering control module info (PSCM) for the EPAS, but not the steering column control module (SCCM) as I do not have those features.

Multifunction switch is tied into the BCM for functions.

Right, but the SCCM doesn't show up in the as-builts from the motorcraft site, nor should that effect the PSCM either between the trims right? so what on earth could be the difference in the PSCM's between trims...

Different wheel bases, different turning radius, different ratio's depending on engine size, 2 or 4wd.
