Forscan advice needed on swap from sync 1 to sync 2
I just bought a 2014 xlt with a sync 1 in it and decided it needed to go. I got a sync 2 and bezel from a scrapyard and hooked everything up (after lots of frustration). I have a big problem though: no climate control.
For background, my truck doesn't have dual climate control. The only bezels I could find had the dual controls in it. They wouldn't work (lights up, but fan doesn't blow), so I combed the forums and found this: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/how-up...60583/index13/
Using this, info, I cut down the circuit board from the old bezel and transferred it with the buttons and dials to the new bezel. The stereo boots up fine and works, but I still have no climate controls. I think it's probably because the new unit hasn't been programmed in yet, but I'm having trouble figuring forscan out. Anyone out there able to direct me in this? It's pretty hot outside and I like my AC.
