What do you guys recommend for the best adapter to use with forscan ??

Do you want convenience of blue tooth? This has draw backs.

I bought one from amazon (non- BT) and it works great, I think the brand is ELM. Be sure you get one with the MS/CAN switch so you can see/access all modules. They are inexpensive, I think I paid about 10-15.00

You're gonna be sitting there when you work on it, anyway. And you're not gonna leave the adapter plugged in all the time. Just get a wired one, they are less flaky.

As mentioned above wired is king. You dont want the head aches of degrading bluetooth connections. And it does happen with cheap adapters eventually.

More than double the price of wired which will still have fewer problems.

I'm probably going with the $31 model from above. It's recommended to get the $60 but I have all but decided against that one.
The cheaper one seems to be used often on the YouTube videos, and is in the recommended list (2nd option behind the $60 model) in the link I provided earlier.
