would be a pain in the *** but I dont see where the height limitation would be an issue - he does a video out now showing the full replacement process.

I have decided against putting in new Ford lines. I'm going to cut off the quick disconnects, use a barb and some hose and attach the hose where the quick disconnects were. We have class 8 trucks that use those stupid disconnects that break and that's how we fix those without issues. Usually there's enough extra line we just cut them off, stuff the hose over the line, clamp it and done. The crimped lines are very rare to fail. I like the factory lines in/out of the cooler, don't have to worry about anything rubbing through or clearing my big *** CVFab intercooler.

No need for crimps, I too was going to add them, just buzzed the existing crimps off and the lines on all sides have either barbs or 'grip' areas that you can rely on with hose clamps.

hummm.... interesting option , but I have all the tubing with me ... I should have wait a little and look for other solution likes yours , anyway i have a few spot on those line pretty rusty especially where the bracket are , maybe they would have started to leak sooner or later. The original arent leaking and they are 8 years old , most of the time in the Canadian montreal rust bucket and I do not plan to keep the truck another 8 years so....
