Ford Sync and Bluetooth via Android/Google Assistant
I recently switched over from an iPhone to Android (Samsung Galaxy S7). I love everything about the switch except this one thing...
When I used to talk to Siri or use other voice commands using the iPhone, the phone would send a command to sync (think it "dialed" a special number?) and I could hear siri and the answers to my voice commands over my speakers (even if I was listening to the radio, etc.).
When I do this with my Android and use Google Assistant, the only way I can get the voice commands over the speakers is by asking sync to turn on bluetooth first, it won't do it automatically when I'm listening to the radio, etc. It will just respond to me on the phone speakers.
Any idea of a way I can do this? Haven't had much luck with a google search.

iPhone is more compatible over bluetooth, there isn't anything to do. Except upgrade to Sync3, which is not easy. I'm just glad we can now play music from Android over bluetooth with basic car systems like Sync.
