Yes.

I have been keeping an eye on this thread for a while now waiting for a permanent fix for this issue. I first noticed the ticking/clicking shifting into reverse way back in early 2012, it was very infrequent and not consistently duplicable.. put it on the back burner..

2013 it started to get more and more frequent and started noticing it going into drive. I was reassigned from Alaska to Florida late 2013 and drove the truck from WA to FL. I had a right front hub actuator fail on me during the trip, and a dealer in TN quickly replaced it for me under warranty, but didn't have the time to let them look at the tick/click when shifting..

Now I drive with the windows down a lot more than I did in Alaska and I can hear it not only shifting, (park/reverse/drive) I hear it starting and stopping and can hear it accelerating and decelerating.. When shifting in a parking lot it now sounds like a soda can is getting crunched when I shift the truck. Truck now has 56k miles, I have the 100K power train warranty but am dreading going to a new dealer here in FL... and not having a permanent fix for this.. Ugh..

And, after the new driveshaft....guess what?!?!?!?! ITS BACK!!!! Only a few short weeks this time, 3 to be exact. Very faint, only sometimes but thats how it started every other time. Im seriously beginning to correlate the F in Ford with FAIL! So for a short run down, we have tried 2 different TSB's, the second, the overhauling of the rear end has been performed twice now and this most recent time the dealer replaced the driveshaft. Everything was great for a few weeks, then it showed its ugly face. Resale on this truck, in the tank. Who wants a truck that has been serviced 10-12 times in 20 months with 32k miles. My dealer said they were contacting their field engineer to see if there were any solutions. 2015 f150, think I'm going to pass. I see a Denali Duramax powered crewcab in my near future!

I feel your pain.... I took the hit and changed brands. Hope your new truck goes better. I'm also better without all the frustrations...

I want to arrange for a follow-up call from your CSM, DirtBusters. Send me a PM with your current mileage and a verification of your best daytime phone number; I'll do the rest.

I've put about 3500 miles on mine since the fix, and so far so good. Noise hasn't returned.

I took mine in again. It's still there. Again. What's funny about it this time is...the same place that fixed it about 15k miles or so is now saying that is something to do with the brakes. LMFAO! Come on now. I was born at night, but not last night. Can't believe they did something to ( Temporarily ) fix the problem and now say it's something to do with the brakes. Give me a F'ing break. Regardless, I took it to ANOTHER dealership to have them do some lube job. Didn't work. Click click click. In reverse-CLICK. Downshifting from 6th to 5th-CLICK. Click click click. I'm so done with this ****. And I also sent my info to the person who keeps telling people to send her the millage yada yada yada. Well, i got a call and received a voicemail. Tried calling the person back 3 times and never got a returned call. Even though I left the case # etc. So, to everyone that is experiencing the problem-There is no fix as far as I'm concerned. I think Ford is getting us far enough along to get us out of warranty then give us the shaft. Really hard to believe. Wonder when that new Dodge diesel half ton is coming out.
Rant done.

I tried to ask this question in another thread and didn't get anywhere. What's the big deal with the clicking? Mine is doing this now too and aside from being annoying, it doesn't seem to interfere with the performance or handling. I mean it's not like the driveshaft is falling apart and leaving folks stranded with broken axles or something. I'm just starting my journey of trying to get this fixed with the dealer, but if we all know the inevitable is that the clicking won't go away, and that TSB 13-7-7 is just a stop-gap,then what's the point especially if it's not causing any harm? The very first version of the TSB even said something to the effect of being normal for the aluminum shaft and don't worry about it (paraphrasing). I'm not making excuses for Ford here, obviously this shouldn't be happening, but really what's the harm from this "problem"?

I have a 2011 Fx4 F150 Eco-Boost. I've had a rear end clicking noise since 2000 miles. The clicking was so bad at one point it could be heard during normal driving. The rear end has been rebuilt twice and the TSB twice. The last time the rear end was rebuilt the splines on the pinion gear could be chipped away with a screwdriver. It has been serviced for the problem at 5000 mile intervals and the problem came back again yesterday when I shift into reverse to back into my driveway with 30000 miles on the truck.
