Buick and Volvo do as of this year. Unless Ford replaced the MT82 trans for the 15+ Mustangs (it was used in the 11-14 models), the manual transmissions for the Mustang are made in China.

This is but the beginning.

I made more than that flipping burgers in my early 20s, by working my way up to management (still had to work the grill while running my shift most nights, but Whataburger pays pretty damned good!) I took a paycut to go work on cars for a living.

I actually do have the stock bumpers... for now (spring project will be new bumpers front and rear - made by yours truly - 30 years of certified welding better start paying off! But for now I use the hitch receiver at the rear or the push guard at the front. Even though I have a chain grab from HiLift, the oem bumpers woild just crumple I fear.

Made my own mounting brackets. I hate that not many F150 accessories are available. Like I made a "dead pedal"; what a great thing to have for long drives or off roading. If I want something, I just have to make it myself.
No, definitely not the same school. That was a function of fat-fingering a new tablet. The difference is obvious.

One thing for sure is I wont buy a China vehicle but they dont sell those here.
Actually, the Jeep Cherokee has been made in China for a very long time now...

Yeah, when I was running construction work (union), whenever the unemployment rate got below about 6% there's a real feeling of "lay me off, I'll have another job tomorrow". Made it hard to strike the right balance, but I'd rather work a short crew than a cancerous employee. Lazy is everywhere, it has no borders or boundaries, except by age I suppose. The (lack of) work ethics of most "Millennials" is nothing short of ghastly! Little 'entitlement' freaks!

It's your generation that gave to every whim of your children to blame.

Funny thing guy retired not long ago. He told me his worst mistake in life was trying to make up for his parents not giving him much as a child. He gave his kids everything and now he's retired and the ****ers are still living at home off of him lol in their mid 20's to early 30's.

All my kids have fur and 4 paws...

But I agree, that the kids' problems started with their parents. The source of the problem doesn't change the outcome. I blame my generation too.
