Ford F-150 Ecoboost problems limp mode and many other issues
http://www.f150forum.com/f38/ford-f-...issues-157704/
ISSUE
Around the 20,000 mile mark, Ford F-150 EcoBoost is having the following problems:
• Engine mis-firing while idle
• Returns to idle when accelerating to merge onto freeway
• Reverse camera issues
• Random check engine light

Potential Cause
• Blown Engine
o To diagnose a potential blown engine, Summertop511 suggests using a compression checker to check cylinder compression. All cylinders should be within 15 psi of eachother, otherwise there is a blown engine possibility.

I do not doubt the condensation being the issue and i told them that. all i was asking for was a loaner truck until mine was fixed and 4 different reps told me to pound sand (well not that short and sweet but almost).

Between that annoying, condescending, useless woman and the constant "AVS Media Demo", I wanted to stomp on my iPad !

What. Load of crap she fed you. F150 EcoBoost not suitable for towing. It would seem to me that alone would help support a false advertising claim.

I bet her bosses ain't happy.

I would video document and file a safety complaint with the NTSB as well.

She was more annoying than the demo messages

Ok, now I got a problem. I've read all of this thread with fascination for the last half hour on my iPad. The problem is, I'm on the crapper and my legs have fallen asleep LOL

I am willing to help a friend out with many things but getting from the crapper to the bed is your own issue... Dont forget your legs are asleep when you lean forward, nothing like picking up your own teeth from the bath tub...
