Default Folding mirror stuck

Just picked up a 2013 Platinum, the drivers mirror has a gouge and appears to have been whacked on something and the folding option does not work. When i break it down and test everything individually each piece works, however when connected normally neither mirror folds. Any advice is appreciated

Are you talking about opening the mirror to see if pieces move or taking it off the truck? Does it fold if the other is disconnected?

I followed the factory trouble shooting guide from the dealer. The mirror was loose. The reset worked to tighten it up. Jumping the mirror at the connector caused it to fold inward properly. Then hooking it up it would unfold as it should but trying to fold it back in you can hear the relay click but nothing moves.

Where is the relay? In the driver's seat modules? Could be a pinched wire or something like that and only affecting that one wire. Since you verified it works until you connect back to the door/mirror connector, you may have to use a volunteer to check for a short. I can't remember the pin # for the folding. Could be a simple fix.

Here is a pinout for the power fold mirror.
