Default Fog Lights are melting

while i was washing my truck the other day i noticed that the lenses on my fogs were melting, fords replacing them under warrenty, has anyone else had this happen to them?

Nope only on some that have tried and done bad retrofits with HID bulbs.

I been running HIDs in mine since a week after i bought my truck and there still look new!

Yeah I wanted to stress badly retrofitted ones. I think if the lens is plastic opposed to glass you will get melting.

Were your lights stuck on? I have seen tractor trailor brake lights melt when the brake light switch stuck in the on position.
