Default fog lights?

I am thinking about upgradING my fog lights. Not sure whether to go with a HID kit or just a better quality bulb. Any opinions or advice will be greatly appreciated. BTW I am currently looking at this kit in the event that I end up with an HID swap:

Please try a search, there are at least a half dozen threads on this topic that has been talked about just today. Sorry normally I don't say for people to search but there are just to many threads about this subject to have to start another.

Thanks for that. I haven't been on here in a few months and just upgraded upgraded my headlights to hid projectors and was just looking for some quick input before I pulled the trigger on anything.

Check out The Retrofit Source for some great options. I run the JW Speakers, but the Morimoto XB fogs should be out in the next month.

Rigid is also coming out with some DOT fog lights.

Depends on your experience, some will tell you it's fine, others not so much. I put hid's in my stock fog housings and melted some of the housings. Am going back to halogen. Maybe a good quality hid would be better though, mine were cheap. I also had a ballast die on me... too many headaches with hid for me.

Go with a quality kit that includes a harness. Every ford vehicle I have ever done hid fogs in did not operate correctly without a harness. I went with the morimoto kit this time around. Great quality and installed once. I would constantly be changing out ballasts on the cheaper kits and it began to be a pain.
