Default Fog light idea

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but let's revisit it.

I'm looking to remove the factory fog lights & housing. Find a female 9140 connector, rig that harness up to a set of LED pods I have and mount them in the fog light location.

I'm sure someone has done that? That way I don't have to splice any wires. And if I sell the truck down the road, or don't like the pods, it's a quick and easy removal.

Thoughts?

This is a harness I found, and I would cut the end off that I don't need, and splice the ground and positive to the mating wires coming out of the pods.

That actually looks like a better harness than the 1st one I found. Thanks for posting!
