Default Fog light/ head light issues

iv got a 2014 STX sport when i bought the truck it came with aftermarket led head lights bulbs and aftermarket led fog light bulbs . Last night both fog lights stopped work , i pull the switch out and nothing. I tested this with truck running with low beam on as high beam wont work . Any ideas where to start troubleshooting? I cant believe both bulbs are bad at same time .

2nd problem iv noticed with the headlights, when the radio is on and head lights are off i have great reception but when radio is on and headlights are on i have terrible reception. Any ideas whats causing this or where to start troubleshooting? Thanks guys .

Cheap leds bleed radio interference everywhere and that is what is hurting your radio reception. I put rf chokes on my led fog lights to kill the rf interference.

As for having low beams only, get regular bulbs and see if your highs come back. The cheap bulbs may only have 1 beam. With both fogs being out, check fuse.

makes sense, forgive me but what are rf chokes and how would i install them / purpose of them ? Would i have to install them on both fog lights and head lights leds as well ? Also what fuse would it be for the fog lights and where can i find the fuse box. Also the head light leds have low and high beam i just tested if fogs where out on low beam cuz they turn off on high from factory . Thank you . New truck still trying to figure out this new to me model. Thanks again

Check your manual for fog light fuse location. Id check that first. Always start with the most simplest fix then move up from there.

rf chokes, also called ferrite cores. different sizes are available.

Need to put as close to the ballast as possible, they are what cause the interference. If the choke is big enough you can double loop it through.
