Default Fog light ?

Ones anyone know if you can use a 9005 bulb in place of the 9140 bulb in the factory fog lights?

The 9005 is a 65w bulb. It will melt the fog light.

A 9006 might be a better choice, could be a little too hot as well though....

Im running Silver Star #9145
so far no problems...... they were 50.00 for the set

They Match my PIAA headlight bulbs which are bright and white....and the highest I can run legally in Canada
they make my stock fog's and head lights look yellow

I got the Piaa headlights and fog lights off their site. A bit pricey, work great and match nicely.
Updates the look, improved visibility with out going crazy. Haven't had any heat/ melt issues either.

Ok I'll try to see if I can find some 9145. I'm wondering if yellow fog lights would look good
