Exactly! Sounds soooo much better in person. Pretty tame when just cruising but give some gas and man it sounds good. Wife and I drove to Alabama and back. 2100 miles round trip. The exhaust never bothered us once. Honestly my wife thought it was too quiet at first. Then I took her on a deserted road and opened it up. Then she said it sounded good. LOL!

Yes, on the Solo!
I can only go on the quality, I've got a Borla, but the quality is comparable from what I've seen. The Solo was a consideration for me though when I was shopping.

I've got the Solo Mach X and love it. No resonator here either, kinda quiet while cruising, loud when it needs to be

I also vote for the SOLO. I have the MR400 SI/SO and LOVE it. It's been on the truck for 2 years now and hasn't had any corrosion problems even in these Alberta winters and still sounds fantastic (considering I have an EB) Also, the J-pipe is awesome to tune and eliminate drone. It's as quiet as stock at highway speeds.
I had a set of Flowmasters on my old truck and the droned sooooo bad at highway speeds. I would be ready to yank my hair out on any ride longer than an hour.
The quality and sound are great for Flowmaster but they don't do much for drone.
Just my 0.02. Also, Steve @ SOLO is fantastic to deal with! They have shops in Canada and US to accommodate to both markets and Alex @ F150 lifts is just as great with customer service! Either way you won't be disappointed.

Thank you. I just wanted to point out that Flowmaster produces over 15 different series of mufflers as well as a huge selection of Cat-back and Axle-back systems so that we are able to offer our customers the ability to tune the sound of their vehicles to their exact specifications. Sound is of course subjective, but interior resonance or drone, is avoidable and running Flowmaster mufflers most definitely does not mean that your car or truck will drone. Flowmaster’s family of 50, 60 and 70 Series mufflers feature our unique Resonance Tuning Chambers which have been designed specifically to reduce interior sound and resonance. If anyone ever has a question or concern regarding Flowmaster's line of products, feel free to PM me!

I wouldn't call it drone...it's louder for sure, but not a bothersome louder though. We like it.
