Default Flow thru center console help

Need some help from someone with a flow thru console. I have been in the process of doing a swap from the column shifter to the center. Following pictures are of the shifter I have. And a wire harness that comes out of it. The harness has wires running everywhere inside the shifter. But I know the shifter has a safety lock on it. It's the click you hear when you put your foot on the brake to shift out of park. I need to get the part number for the female end of the harness. Or if my truck has this harness. I tore my lower dash apart looking for it. But couldn't find anything similar. All help is thanked in advance.

it isn't going to be there! Ford doesn't do the one harness fits all truck deal! You won't have any of the connectors or modules for the 110 v outlet and so on. Keep in mind that you will have lighting (dash lights) for the gear indicator, also there is the tow haul and SST to get working also! So you may find yourself getting deeper and deeper into wiring issues. So how far along are you? Did you remove the column shifter yet? I think you may want to look at leaving the column shift and use the floor shift hole for a storage unit! I know anything can be done and I will try to help you with it if you want to go forward but that doesn't mean it will be worth the work and cost when it is done!

I understand that it's not gonna be a plug and play system. However, the same harness set up is used for the column shifter. Being that this is my daily driver. I will have everything set up before I do the swap. All the wires that feed to the light bulb, manual shifting buttons, and tow haul button all feed into this harness.

Ok you can either do it yourself wire by wire *which I suggest* or start buying the harness's, I hope it is that simple but keep in mind when you say they are the same harness you are completely wrong.... if you want to do this by harness then look forward on buying two main wiring harness's and thus the problem(s) since the floor shifter only comes in truck models most if not all have auto dual climate control and in that main harness that feed to the steering column and the dash, since that is where the indicators are for the gears you would not have the controls for the manual climate controls... so I suggest the following... get the connector for the floor shifter and buy a couple spools of different colored wire and start feeding the correct wire(s) from the tow haul and so on to the floor shifter. Now the nice thing will be that the color of wire used for either floor or column are going to be the same so it will make things easier. Not sure if you have the factory wiring diagrams so I thought I would give you the connector and wiring ... Good Luck!

Didn't have anything of those diagrams. Looks like I'll be splicing and soldering.

Notice the floor connector has 10 wires to do and the column tow haul has 5 of them... The nice thing is the wires are the same colors!
Now you need 5 more wires and where to find them.. so first here is the column with all the connectors.

Notice the one on the bottom in red C2008! Here you will find 4 more wires however the only difference is going to be the color of the ground wire... from the floor it is BK-WH and from the brake shift interlock it is just BK,,,,, here is the connector and wiring!

What I would suggest is to go to the dealer and order the C3245 connector if will (should) have wire leads attached. Since you will be taking out the column shifter you can just unplug the tow haul connector C2399. Now you can either get pins to insert into the C2399 connector or cut and solder but I would suggest getting pins and use heat shrink.. put a couple (2 -4) of one inch pieces of heat shrink over the 5 wires, then one piece for each individual wires. Next insert them into the C2399 connector making sure they are correct and then move down one of the 1 inch shrinks and heat it, then the next and until they are all done. You will find that you will be able to disconnect the 5 wires almost as you would if it was a connector. You never know what you may have to remove to repair something down the road and having the ability to unplug all your connections like factory is the best way to do things! The same will go for all the other connections you need to make. You have all the primary wires and connectors you need now except for one wire (VT-GY)and the is for the lights. That can be found many places, in the audio unit, anywhere a dash or interior light comes from. If you need any other help let me know and good luck! I Don't cut or splice any wires if I don't have to as far as with the OEM harness but I shared this before so take a look at how I add a wire to a connector that can't be removed.
