Default Flow through center console?

I am buying weather tech mats for somebody. I get to the question is the truck equipped with flow through center console but I don't know what that means.

It is a 2012 supercab and has the shifter mounted in the center, not on the steering column. So what type of center console is that?

If you have the bucket seats w/shifter in center console that is flow through, not the bench w/shifter on column

jazzy, what Robob said. If the shifter is in the floor you have a flow through console.

BTW, welcome to the forum.

I sell alot of the weathertechs, took this from the website
"Models equipped with the optional "Flow Through" center console feature 2 captains chairs, and the gear selector is mounted within the center console itself.

Models equipped with the "Non-Flow-Through" center console also feature 2 captains chairs, however the gear selector is mounted on the steering column.

Models Not Equipped with either console feature 40/20/40 split bench seating, with the gear selector mounted on the steering column."
so if the shifter is on the console it is flow through

If you have a 12 super cab with dual floor retainers the part number is 443341 for black

453341 is tan

463341 is grey

Thanks for your help Rob.
I am actually just looking for the rear mat only. The truck has the factory optional sony stereo system with subwoofer. So the mat I think I need is part #441794. However, there is this "important fitment notes" warning there that says "designated trim required for models equipped with optional subwoofer". But then it doesn't give me any way to input the trim, so I am not sure if that is the correct mat..

Well I feel like an idiot.
When they said designated trim required... for some reason in my dyslexic head I was thinking they needed more information about the trim model of the truck.

But what it actually meant is there is a designated section on the mat that you trim off to accommodate the subwoofer.

I also had to trim the mat in mine for the sub, take your time and follow the crease carefully, it cuts easier than you think with a razor lol

441794 is the correct # for you as long as you want black
