So i just went to a local muffler shop to get a estimate on a flow master and didn't even think to ask what series they were giving me an estimate on. Anyone that has gotten this done at a local shop what series do you have, and how loud is it? Louder the better in my opinion

FLowmasters are Loud and there is a lot of drone in the cab...If you like it that way probably a 40 series will do you justice... Did I say they were LOUD????

 

Haha yeah 40 series is what I prefer!

 

i just cut out the muffler and resonator on my 2011 and had the shop put a flowmaster super 44 in. it is very loud but what the point in spending the money for it to be a little loud. there is alot of drone when cruising at 60-70mph but i love it. flowmaster is the way to go if you want loud and dont mind drone. when i had mine done tried several different muflflers flowmaster by far the loudest and best sounding.

 

Flowmaster 40's. True duels. Only way to go

 

^^this, and turndowns right out of the muffler. Ive had this setup on several trucks and sounds awesome. I just went quieter on this truck.
