Default Fleet Question!

I ordered an F-150 for my office in late July through our company's fleet program. the vehicle just showed up at the dealer, who said the price he quoted would be $250 higher than what he originally quoted because the Fleet incentives had decreased $250 bucks.

I thought that once you ordered a truck, you locked in the price and incentives. However, the dealer stated that this is only for retail programs and not for fleet.

I know it is only $250 bucks, but I thought Ford should cover that, not me. Is it true that you can't lock in a price when you order fleet, and you take whatever price it is when it arrives at the dealer?

Don't know what to belive here. Looking for someone that knows the fleet program.

Thanks!

That is correct, the fleet program is a lucrative one and the incentives are flexible.

That's kind of bogus, but as you said it's only $250 thankfully. I'm sure you wont notice the few extra pennies on the payment
