I know what you mean. I hate my P rated goodyears. Try filling them to max psi, I did and it stiffened up the ride. Feels much more responsive now.

Mine came with them as well.
I have a 2010 Scab 2WD with a 3v 4.6; added 300 lbs of sand in the back.
No real snow here this year but last year I found the truck to be good in snow.
Had a decent ice storm last week though - came on suddenly and created a lot of accidents.
I was stuck in traffic for a long time because a bus got sideways going up a steep hill and took out a car. There were two buses stopped at the top of the hill coming the other way because if they started down it would be bowling for dollars.
I got out and the road was complete ice. Got back in and thought "well f'k this we're going to have a go at the hill." I was right at the bottom with a bunch of cars so couldn't get much of a run but the damn truck just sailed up the hill at a steady pace with the traction control and the road crown didn't even cause her to start going for the ditch.
Not too bad at all.
