I guess that's why each and everyone of us can weigh the options and choose the truck that best suits our needs

Get what you want the first time around. Narrowing it down that far is a plus. Definitely get 4wd even if you "know" you will never need it because there will come a day that you will and will regret not having it. As far as engines go, I have owned two f150s in the past 4 yrs and both ecoboosts. The first plain jane 2wd XLT (impluse buy) and stupid one, not that I didn't love the truck just not the one I truly wanted which I have now which is a 2012 FX4 both were supercrew. Now for the towing. When I did live in FL and had my 2wd XLT EB I towed a 20ft Proline deep bow center console. The EB was an amazing engine when it came to towing the boat. I couldn't even tell I was towing most of the time unless it was windy. I launched at several different launches, some kept up nicely and others, well, lets day they might have been handmade with shovels and gravel. But the end results were always the same and the EB yanked it out easy everytime. Only had problems one time when it was super low tide (pre hurricane) and the wheels were spinning bc of all the mildew/algae down towards the bottom of the launch and thats when I knew I had to get my FX4 someday. She ended up pulling her out but overall I love the supercrew ecoboosts.

Get a nice truck tge first time. I'd go lariat, Eco, 3.73 with 4wd.

Buy it right, buy it once.

Expect 10-11 off sticker. Depends on area.

Thanks everyone....I picked up my truck on Tuesday and I'm so excited!!!

Got it for 11.5k off sticker with 2.2% for 72 months.

Ingot Silver, 4x4 5.0 SCREW with the 302A lux, towing, off-road and XLT chrome packages.

Thanks again for everyone's advice, it really helped me a ton.
