if I go through with this, I'll probably tie them into the parking lamps, with a toggle switch as well...

I like the idea of being able to turn them on with the high or low beams...

hell I might rewire the factory fog lights at the same time so they'll run with the high beams too, lol

I have no worries about wiring; I'm a wire-layout freak

should have seen the relay setup I constructed for the headlights, and 2 sets of fog/running lights on my Toyota

I think I got all of this but I'm not 100% sure of the brown lines and the diode. Can you please explain a little bit more on that? Thanks.

Fiveprices5, What brand/model of lights did you use?

It keeps the low beam signal from lighting up the high beams. Think of the diode like a one way valve, only letting power flow in one direction.

^ correct

the main objective of that wiring schematic was to make the low beams also stay on when I turned the high beams on

Low Beams - single light (low beams only)
High Beams - two lights (high beams AND low beams at the same time)

makes an unbelievable difference!

with the low beams, high beams, and fog lights on, that thing threw CRAZY amounts of light

that diagram was actually altered upon installation; the diode went right at the original factory headlight plugin, between the low and high beam outputs
