I like that! What did you use to paint it? And did you paint right on the truck? Or did you take it off?

I've been thinking about plastidipping mine....but now I'm thinking about painting.

i'm not the biggest fan of the C-Clamp either. Been considering going to the 6-bar but also like the tremor/lariat/KR grille. PTM sterling grey with black inserts on the bars IMO

Painted 6 bar look's great!

 

At first I used Krylon Fusion but it scratched too easy. So I stripped the Fusion off it and then I used bumper black paint, but it looked kind of flat black. So I hit it with my buffer and that brought it out to a nice satin finish.
I did it on the truck. I taped off the grill except for the bars and I had some big sheets of plastic so I wrapped the entire truck with plastic. I also put newspaper behind the grill so I wouldn't get overspray in the engine compartment.

 

I likey Wayne. But, I liked the other one also.

 

I prefer the original better. A 6 bar looks like it belongs on a 11 truck in my opinion you just aged the look of your truck by 3 years lol. The important thing is that it's your truck so enjoy it and ignore opinions like mine.
