Nice, thanks! That seems to be the missing piece of the puzzle. Thanks to the other guy that suggested hooking the laptop up, too.

By chance have you given it time to learn the trans shifting? I find if you drive it easy for the first 50 miles or so after flashing tune on it will smooth out the shifting, just as if you drive it hard right after flashing your shifting will be firmer/harder. I'm not sure in regards to why they haven't gotten back to you, I went straight through 5 Star and they are very quick with replies.
Might not hurt to give Stage 3 a call.

I went to stage 3. ill try 5 star direct. I gave it about 2000 miles, seems around 45mph when it seemed confused what gear to be in. Truck was a beast from the tune though. Thank you for the reply

I don't have any hard shift issues but my truck does the same thing at 45 mph. It hunts back forth between gears. If I still lived in Las Vegas it would drive me crazy because 45mph is a common speed limit. Up here everything is mostly 40mph so I never looked into it further.

The way it works now atleast is they mail you a blank tuner which you hook and up and pull a code off the truck. Then email them the code along with a bunch of info on your truck and they write the tunes and email you back.
