I’m looking for information on the FX-4. I understand my FX-4 is plated underneath. Can this plate (plates) be removed and if so how much do they weigh?

 

I don't have the exact answers but they are removable, just bolt on I believe. They can't weight that much I would imagine. Big selling point for me on the fx4 is black trim, 3.73 gears and the locking diff, also upgraded shocks and what not.

 

More power to you bud! You'll appreciate it more and take better care of it since it yours and mom and dad didn't just hand it to you.
