Talking FINALLY fixed my painful uncomfortable driver's seat!!

WITH THIS!

My 2013 F150 driver's seat was painfully uncomfortable since day one (the last 8 months). I was trying to get Ford to look at it, but since it was "causing an injury", the claim went to Ford's Office of General Counseling....basically, a black hole. After numerous attempts to pursue this over the last 8 months (and 9,000 miles) with no luck, I finally gave up. This new Dodge Ram is MUCH more comfortable!

I enjoyed talking with you all in here and wish you the best.

Later!

Weird, I've read comments about the new Ram seats being the only bad thing about those trucks.

But I do realize that even a seat that 99% of the population thinks is awesome can be pure torture to a few people.
No complaints with my F150 buckets.

Funny how people are different. My F150 seats are among the most comfortable I have ever experienced. Even after an 8 hour trip I am not numb. Good luck with the new ride.

Yeah, I really tried to keep the F150. I went to orthopedic doctors, had x-rays, physical therapy, month’s worth of anti-inflammatories and steroids, deep tissue massage therapy, padded the seat by an upholstery shop, sat on padded cushions, sat on beaded cushions, and had a MRI. It was last week, when I reviewed that MRI with the orthopedic doctor and he said the truck seat is causing a nerve impingement and it will not go away as long as I keep driving the truck, I decided it was time to move on. I still wanted a full size truck, so I went with the 2014 Ram.

oooh..nice looking truck! i was set on getting a new ram sport with the 8 spd, but gave up on it after the crewcab didn't have as much room (back row) as the tundra and the f150. They have some nice interiors as well. i felt like the f150 seats were much more comfortable compared to the ram. I also felt like i had more room as a driver in the f150 . That's my experience and i'm sure yours will be different. Being 6'7' with wide shoulders can get uncomfy pretty quick in just about anything. lol

Regardless, you got your self a nice truck! enjoy it!

As a person with degenerative disk disease (L5-S1) herniation, sciatica and in just the last couple of months arthritis (all before my 42nd birthday) I can say that the lariat seats are quite comfy. The seat was the driving reason for me getting out of my old vehicle. Must have been something with the entry line seats that he didn't like.

i actually think that something was off with just my F150's seat, but after 8 months waiting for Ford to do anything, I just gave up.
