Question filters

does anyone believe the K and N panel filter works better than stock on 2010?

Some people do, but I prefer CLEAN air going into my engine. That's why I run a WIX filter in my truck.

I have actually researched this a lot, and the best writeup I have found basically said the K&N flows better(negligibly) but lets in more contaminents(also negligibly). Basically what it has come down to for me is cost vs convenience and since I dont like cleaning and oiling filters I stick with stock. Unless you complement the filter with top end and exhaust upgrades you more than likely wont see(feel) any performance enhancements, also unless you keep the truck for 30 years I doubt the extra contaminants it lets in will affect anything either...my two cents

K&N has exaggerated claims on their filter. I've used them for 15 years and the only advantage I see is the reusability.
But I will not be using one for my 2010 F150.
