Default Fender Flare Install

Hey.. I am posting this for a friend, he has a 2014 f150 XTR which doesn't have fender flares so he purchased a set of color matched FACTORY flares on ebay and we both are wondering the best way to install these? ( step by step ) Can someone maybe help? Pics would be great also. Thanks

Drill holes, paint bare metal! Use push pins, done...

Only 5, 1/4" holes on the underside, not even noticeable.... Just paint the bare metal when done, let dry, repaint, let dry, install.... Forget about it!

I am guessing 3M double sided auto tape might work. Wouldn't know for sure though.

The tears are much easier to mount. All I did was use the bolts already on each side it the wheel wells at the bottom to secure the ends of the flares. Next I used double sided tape to keep it from moving while I slid some clips over the edge of the flares and the lip of the wheel well. I only used about 5 clips on each side. They aren't as secure as factory drilled holes but it really isn't going anywhere and I didn't have to drill holes. The front you only had one bolt to use to mount so I drilled two holes into the plastic bumper piece that sits below the grill. Obviously you have to drill the holes in fender flare and slide a bolt through and slip a nut on it. My wheel wells up front didn't have a lip to secure with the clips I used on the back so I did drill one hole in the wheel well on each side to mount the flares. I also put double sided tape on front as well. I can pull the fronts out a little towards the top of the wheel well but it doesn't move when driving. I'm ok with it now but at some point i may either take them off and buy some aftermarket or just leave them off.

I used 2 sided tape on the outside face of the fender. The underside I drilled the holes and used plastic rivets from Harbor Freight. Couldn't be happier with how mine turned out!
