Sultan you seriously have to throw your two cents in on everything and its never positive. You have some really weird tastes if you like your giant silver grill guard but not a leveled truck. To each their own but man its a good thing you drive a tractor all day by yourself and don't have to deal with a lot of people. That is all.
Haha, Hey that grill guard keeps my truck damage free when I hit deer at 70mph and they are everywhere here, its essential!

Just trying to help him out, havent you ever seen a leveled truck towing or hauling something? Am I lying? Did you chuckle to yourself or did you say man that looks awesome with the nose so much higher than the rear end!? lol! Ive seen people do things all the time without fully realizing all the consequences of it until its too late. Especially lifts levels and monster tires and they after theyve spent thousands of dollars they ask why their gas mileage went to crap, just making sure he is aware of the downsides. Now he is informed and can make his own decision. Knowledge is power. I guess you could always spend more money and add airbags to keep it from sagging in the rear but they are not without their downsides either.

Ya I pull my 22 ft bay boat all the time. The look doesn't bother me at all. Truck really doesn't sag all that bad.

I for one, like the look of the leveled/lifted truck, but this is my first truck and my wife and I feel it sits pretty high already. I can't imagine it sitting any higher. I like the look of the beefy tires too, I just want to the bigger tires with no lift. Are the bigger tires the only reason people lift their trucks?

For now, it seems my only options are a) a slightly bigger/wider tire on the stocks b) wheel spacers with the stock wheels c) a combination of both a and b d) leave it stock

Mostly, lift allows larger ones to fit but some do it for more offroad clearance. I like lifted trucks too, just too impractical for me as a daily driver, they are high enough stock, don't want to need a ladder to climb in and out every day, lol! There's nothing wrong with the leveled look either but if you tow or haul its not level anymore, it's nose high and looks silly. Most people overlook this fact when leveling.

Agreed. I don't go off roading, but love the look. So what are my options as far as the biggest wheel/tire combination with stock height? Sorry if this has been answered before.

Lots of people have put 33's on stock rims on 4x4's with no lift or level.

Thanks guys, I do appriciate both sides of the conversation. has been helful. I do plan to level the front, I do tow lots, but all pretty light trailers, sleds, boats, etc. a cord of wood will look a little funny but i'm okay with that.

I plan to install the level kit in the front, do the alignment at the shop, maybe run the scorpion tires for a while , then upgrade the tires. If I want to ajust the rear sag , add a 1 inch block in the back (but want to see for myself).

for the rear block, is an alignment needed?

information has been great!

Thanks for all the feedback. Really helped with my decision.

I went with the 2" level kit from Hell Bent Steel. Stock rims and 285/65/20 BF Goodrich All Terrain tires.

I love the look and the truck feels perfect.
