I agree had one on my 2010 5.4 and was real family friendly. After the guy at the shop put it on an gave it a little gas we looked at each other like there was no difference from stock. Under hard acceleration it made a nice deep sound but not loud. At idle and crusing at 70 it was also nearly stock. It allows you to make some noise but my wife never said this truck is loud and there was zero drone anywhere I could find

who is the guy on here from canada who has put 4 or 5 different mufflers on his 5.0 and posts them all on youtube?
I think his most recent muffler is a flowmaster super 50 muffler. I am pretty sure that is what I want. he seems VERY happy with this setup and he has compared many mufflers on his 5.0.

Well Just got back from hunting. The highway drive (2 hours) you could not even hear the magnaflow catback. The snow hitting the windshield was louder. Seems like the perfect exhaust to me.

I would look at getting a single in singl out 24in magnaflow. That's what I have on my 2010 5.4 and my buddy has on his 5.0. Just cut the factory muffler off and weld the 24in magnaflow in its place. They sound great not that loud and it does not sound redneck. I started off with a 18in magnaflow which was loud and swapped to the 24 a lot more mellow.
