I too bought a 2013 without Sirius, and I love Sirius... I got the Isimple gateway from xmfanstore.com they are awesome customer service.

A few notes on the install if you get the OEM in dash kit (http://store.xmfanstore.com/complete...n-mercury.html).

1. they are totally plug and play, simply add a jumper harness (NO CUTTING NO SPLICING) to the existing harness and connect the tuner and gateway.

2. follow and read instruction on the grey/black cable connection.

3. I have had a few problems with the HUD, it will say acquiring, even when you can hear and change stations, just cover up the antenna for about 1 minute, and make sure you lose signal, then expose the antenna and problem fixed.

4. make sure you read the instructions about the switches on the side of the gateway to ensure that the proper switches are flipped for compatibility (i.e. no sync, sync w/nav)

NO FOR the problems I have with it.
1. You have to manually push text to see the artist, then push it again to see song, and finally one more time to see station. This is annoying.

2. extra wiring makes for a mess behind the OEM head unit, I have major OCD and it bugs me. you will have almost and extra foot of head unit harness.

Not trying to cause a debate but I think it sounds good in mine. Maybe my ears aren't as sensitive but I'm happy with it.

I've always thought this as well. It's a truck, I guess I don't get the need for "recording studio" quality sound.

Sounds good in mine too. Some of the higher numbered talk and news channels are definitely a lower quality but the music ones are great.

Mine sounds fine. It's not CD quality, but it sounds good. I have the Sony system though. Why not pay for the mobil version and stream it through your phone? You can take it anywhere with you. I can pay $3.50 a month and my wife and I can both use it on our iPhones.

I do that, but I download Jason Ellis on demand shows with wifi then stream then via Bluetooth. Works great! Catch the shows I miss.

I love The Jason Ellis Show! I can't listen to it with the kids in the truck though. I usually listen to it on the way to the gym or at the gym. I'll start laughing in the gym and people stare at me like I'm an idiot.
