Factory Resonator... Increase in perf. by removing?
I am going to be replacing my factory muffler with either a Dynomax Bullet or Aero Turbine muffler. I was wondering if removing the resonator would add any performance or compliment the the performance of the muffler? Both mufflers are loud deep mufflers so don't know if I want to remove the resonator.

Not unless you replace it with a delete-pipe that's 3" from the merge collector flange all the way back to the muffler to remove that danged 2.5" restriction. Even that wouldn't help much unless you were at a higher power level, but, a 3" pipe section would eliminate the restriction.
