I bought a used 2012 FX4 in July with factory remote start. Over the months it has slowly started working wen it wanted to and now is not working at all. All it does when I try to start it is honks back at me. I brought it to the dealership and they said they changed some gasket and it should work. Well the lock/unlock works better now but still no remote start. I brought it back and it has been there 3 days now with no luck. They switched out the hood switch from a new F150 and didn't work. Well I am tired of not having a truck and I have to drive from LA to CA on Saturday so I am picking it up today. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, do you know what fixed it?
