Look at pioneer, kenwood, alpine, jvc.

You can find systems starting at $300 with just dvd touchscreen then you can add on things as you go or you can go with one for around $1000 that has eveything.

I have a Kenwood and it is nice and uses Garmin for Nav duties.

Thanks, Res4cue. I do use Crutchfield when I am in the market but even when I looked, there were so many, my head started spinning. They do a great support job though and take a lot of the guesswork out of a purchase. I'll check out the ones you suggested.

I would go Aftermarket. I don't know if there still on backorder but mine was on backorder even though it came with the truck when I bought it. 6-8 months

Default Ford factor nav

I have a Ford factory nav system out of my 2012 F250 SD if you are interested. Working perfectly and is only three months old. Let me know.

Is it the Sony nav? Did you take it out? If so, why? I have a 2012 150 fx4 screw w/ the premium Sony 6 disc setup. My backup camera pops up in my mirror, I wanted this truck with the nav, but my dealer couldn't locate one quick enough for me. Had an end of tax year deadline for a huge tax deduction, and I just couldn't wait any longer. If it is the Sony nav out of a 2012, does anyone know if that's a plug n play setup to mine? Is the f250 dash cluster set up like my f150? What color are your trim pieces? I would need black.......can you post some pics? How much $$$? Email me directly if you prefer - cuttingtrim@gmail.com

F150 are component systems. SD's are 1 one pc units. I don't believe there is anyway to make it fit

ive done several premium sound to nav updates in superduties and not one was i able to use the same sterring wheel controls and not in one case was i able to get away without cross wiring and making my own patch harness for the sync and the head unit to use voice comand and audio output from sync to the head unit. and /or adding a new gps antenna under the dash or making/finding a y adapter cable to use the existing sirius antenna for gps location

so if the f150s are wired the same way keeping your existing sync and steering controls will require a custom kit keeping your specific build and oem radio in mind.

ford doesnt make upgrading easy. some times you will luck out and find that the previous model years unit is a plug and play with the newer truck with only the loss of a few features or little rewiring.

once again i havent looked at the 150. there just isnt enough time or money for me to waste my time on it.

best bet would be to look for a reputable after market installer and see what they say.

if you did'nt come with factory nav, you cannot put factory into your truck, plug n play. You are missing a couple of essential wires, that will stop you.

Been there, done that.
