Default Factory Navigation with Sync/Sony Issues

Noticed today that the navigation quit functioning. When I input an address it acts like it wants to search for it, then resets back to the home screen (4 corners) and you can see the "Navigation" with a spinning wheel like it is reseting. When I tried just using the map itself it will temporarily load however it is not showing the screen view I usually use. Then resets when I try to get into settings.

The rest of the stereo, phone and HVAC system works as normal. Anyone else having similar? or had similar? Trying to figure out where to even start chasing a potential issue.

Thanks

I upgraded the card about 4-5 months ago. I guess I could pull it out and reload it just to eliminate that but it's more like an internal software or hardware issue.

Did you buy OEM map sd card? I bought one off of eBay once and it screwed everything up.

Got it from Amazon, but if it was going to cause issues one would think it would have been right away. It was June when I bought and installed it.

So may have just been the "Media Hub" that was causing the glitch. I have a thumb drive with 11k+ songs on it and an old iPod in the USB ports, and then the nav SC card. I unplugged them all and only reinstalled the SC card and the thumb drive for now. Navigation seems to be working again without issue. I am thinking that the old iPod is the likely source as it also requires constant power since the battery is long defunct. Will report back if the issue pops up again.
