Factory NAV System Questions?
Any way that the camera can be enabled to check on trailer while in motion?
What is the process to enable the dvd while in motion?

The NAV system in Canada is a $2300 option.
Lockpick is another $500 on top of that.
WOW.
An aftermarket system would have been a better investment and allowed me to do all that I wanted.

Where are you seeing $500?

$239 directly from the makers. I think this is still a little pricey but I'm still on the fence as to whether I'll add this to my list of future purchases.
I don't really care about in motion DVD but would like to enable the in motion navigation features (as well as the camera)

That's better, the site I was on said $499. Is this a sure thing, anyone have experience with this manufacturer? Is it just a software flash or upload that enables/unlocks the features?

I haven't purchased one but have researched it for a while. It's actually a piece of hardware that gets installed behind your nav system. You have the option to enable or disable the DVD in motion via a dip switch. To activate the features you press and hold the phone button on the steering wheel then scroll through the various menus.
As noted earlier, you can also enable a second camera, whether it's located in the front or a back seat facing "nanny cam"
The site has some pretty good videos on features as well as installation.
I had read last year of people having issues of slow shipping, but once installed the reviews seemed ok.

I have it...PAC AUDIO sells one. I got it on eBay before noticing it was a bit cheaper on amazon.
Works perfectly, just like the video shows.

I also purchased a small set of plastic trim tools on eBay to make sure I didn't scratch anything and it was worth the $8 I spent on them to get it done right. You can turn on the back up camera while driving in any speed and turn it off at any time. To be clear, you can't see all the way down your trailer, but the tongue and front end is pretty clear.
