Thats a sweet looking truck.Love the white. White was first on my list of colors.... oh what.......only black or silver, i guess i'll take black. The color is the only thing i would change about my truck. Absolutely love your truck. I find that mine is a bit rough/ bouncey in the back also, i fooled around with the tire pressure, helped a bit. Inlaws 04 lariat is alot smooother ride in imo(max tow also) At the end of the day it is a truck after all. lol

What were the build dates of both trucks? They did change the springs at some point due to a takeoff shudder, but I didn't think that included the extra spring.
It's also possible the wrong spring package was installed during assembly. I think a Ford dealer can use your VIN to get the appropriate part number. Maybe they can compare the part numbers using the VINs from both trucks.

I had the same question about my 12" xlt and my moms 12" lariat. Think it has to do with 18"s vs 20"s. Mine has a smoother ride IMO but hers is fully loaded and waayy nicer.

I was wondering the same thing one day, I have a 2011 fx4 supercrew and I have 1 less leaf spring than my buddy with a 2006 f150 fx3 extended cab and also my other buddy with a 2010 f150 lariat. I was suspose to have the max towing paccking but I am not excatly sure!
