Default Factory HID headlights

Hi,I have a set of 2013 factory Hids with the retrofit kit in my 2011 Fi50 . I've been having issues with the passenger headlight bulb. After driving for about 10 minutes the passenger bulb shuts off. If I shut the truck off and restart it it comes right back on but within 10 minutes it shuts off.I've changed the retrofit harness and it still does it. Switched the bulbs around and the same result. Would it be a bad ballast? Or is it getting to hot and need some sort of relay. Getting really frustrating. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Bad ballast.

Swap ballasts and see if issue follows.

Yep sounds like a ballast issue. What ballasts are you running currently? Sounds like it's overheating

Like others have said, it's most likely the ballast. I keep spare ballasts in the back of my truck just in case something happens so I can fix it immediately. Nothing worse than not being able to see at night.
