There is so many of these on craigslist/kijiji it's insane, "you know how insurance companies are, they'd rather replace than repair, this vehicle only had the bumper, wheel, and paint re done"

In all realities the frame was screwed up, had half the body replaced and/or is a cut and shut.

Maybe the starting of the concrete Johnny barrier? If he was looking at "mind the gap" it would have been a head on impact from not looking at the road at all. At least that's how it would have been for me.

This is why I refuse to buy a salvage vehicle even though some have been tempting. I went and looked at a written off 2013 FX4 appearance package with a 6" lift, with allegedly $26,000 in damage at the salvage auction. It looked perfect on the outside, but as soon as I climbed underneath I saw that the frame had been destroyed somehow. Truck went for $3,000, should've bought it anyway.

Thats what happened to my old truck. Totaled out in a hit n run. In pics it didnt look bad...but the frame was completely messed up...so i let the insurance total it and take it
