Default F150 Spare tire?

I was out traveling this weekend and took a nail in my tread. Jacked it up and went to get the spare and besides having a micheln AT t17" tire it was overall 2" taller. Luckily we were able to just plug my original. Anyone else had this issue? I'm assuming a taller rear spare wouldnt have been good for my elec locker rear end?

I'm going up to local dealer this week and see if I can get the right size spare swapped out. Its a 2013 with just over 16k miles.

Did you buy the truck used? Maybe the previous owner had larger tires on it and had a spare to match?
