F150 order delays because of tire shortage?
I`m trying to put an order in and keep on getting stonewalled because supposedly the LT245/75Rx 17E tires aren`t coming in due to problems in manufacturing in Japan. Is this just a story or has anyone else found this when trying to order and F150 with max payload package? I'm just really getting frustrated because they won't budge on somehow working this package so I still get it built.

Thats weird Ive seen Goodyears (normally made in us), michelin (made in us or canada) and hankook (made in korea) tires on F150's idk what tires they would be using that are from japan?

my 20" pirellis have been awesome, no flat spots or vibration issues like some claim to have. Not the best in snow, but an excellent summer street tire for sure. Manageable in snow too, I put snow tires on mine but some of my friends used the pirellis all winter with no problems.

that's odd... you'd think Ford could figure out a solution to that one, lol
my 2010 XLT with 17's came with Hankook's from the factory... they serve their purpose as tires I suppose, but man are they skinny... no grip at all either... the tires always seem to chirp at the slightest hint of throttle around a corner... I can't wait to get a new set of wheels and tires lined up so I can go out on a back road and burn these off, lol
