Doesn't block any of it. I can't tell a big difference but of coarse I am sure it does slightly effect it. I have mine for 6 months and love it!

Kenneth, would you be willing to give a more detailed installation guide? Where to drill through firewall, etc? Or was this marked in the instructions?

Yeah I could write something up for y'all. It will be after the fourth of July though. Leaving tomorrow morning for Hersey Park in PA.

No drilling through the firewall; there's already a spot that vacuum hose can pass through on the drivers side.

As for daylight it works great and night even better. You'll have no issues seeing it.

If any of you live in South Georgia let me know.

I wish we could find another solution for a gauge pod rather then the ac vent. I'm just not a fan of looking down to see the gauge and taking my eyes off the road. I'm not saying its to far off but I would be the person finding myself stairing at the gauge more so then the road lol

It sure looks good but what could you do with the information if you knew what the boost value is while driving by taking your eyes off the road? The only thing I can imagine is that it will let the driver know if the turbo is working as the way it is supposed to but do you need to check it all the times? Is it so badly engineered that you have to monitor it always? Could you not tell what the turbo is doing by the way the engine is reacting/acting?

Disclaimer: I am still waiting for my order to be delivered so I do not have a first hand experience with the EB although owned other turbocharged vehicles. Wanted to clarify that before someone chops my heads off for asking questions. I am asking with the hope that I learn something...

No, there is no reason for your average joe to monitor the gauge all the time other then pure enjoyment. And with a vac/boost gauge however you will notice that if you can stay in vac more often then you will also get better mpg in return as well.

As for people with tunes etc its nice to have as well to monitor their tune to see if people are simply throwing boost at these things to make more power or what is going on.

It will also allow you to monitor or boost leaks over time and once an exhaust/ tune etc... is put on you can monitor for boost creep which can be very bad for motors.
