Default f150 diesel??

went to dodge build site...they offer a diesel in there 1500...is ford behind dodge again??? when is ford going to offer a diesel in the 150??? anyone know??

nope...i have a 150...just wondering when ford will offer a diesel in the 150 line...

They offer the EB instead. They claim they won't do a diesel in the 150. They are going to put one in the new fullsize Transit Van along with the EB and the 3.7 which can be run on LPG.


With the higher cost of diesel I think it's a wise decision on Fords part.

Just making sure, seems to be a rise in trolls lately.

No reason for a diesel in the 150. EB is pretty dominant

I don't want a diesel. Ecoboost is a much more feasible option in a half ton.

honestly if diesel emissions hadn't become what they are, I would probably be interested in a diesel half ton (or a modern diesel for that matter). With the new emissions standards, the advantages of diesel are rapidly disappearing (fuel economy, longevity, etc.). I have been driving diesel trucks for the better part of the last 8 years and I honestly don't see myself getting back into one unless I were to get an old project to tinker on. New "modern" diesels are for the birds IMO.
