f150 6.2
Man you keep post up stuff like this guys then I just may not be able to get my big head out the door
Seriously though, thanks. On my I just happened to stumble on it. And from my 06's 5.4L I did some research on the 6.2L before I said yes, and to my surprise, nothing bad has been said about them.
I love the power and the sound and the feel. Amazing engine. Plus it gets better MPG then my 5.4L stock for stock!!!

So the Mustang version of the 5.0 makes more HP than the 6.2, and only slightly less torque. Sounds like we 5.0 guys just need to figure out where the extra power comes from on the Mustang. Then we won't lust for the 6.2 anymore.
I would imagine cams, head design and computer programming would a start.....oh and weight
I have an '11 Lariat with the 6.2, Max Tow and 3.73LS. I ordered her on Oct. 7th., 2010, took delivery on Jan 21rst., 2011. Love, Love, Love my truck. Rides great, has great power, and gets good (relatively) good gas mileage. Of course around town, and/or on the go peddle it suffers. During summer that would be anywhere from 12-14mpg if I stay out of it. This time of year with winter blend and on my winter tires it drops a few. I took a trip out to my nephews yesterday and averaged about 14mpg. I was on the SCT 93 canned tune. But on the highway taking my trips out to West Virginia at 65mph, I regularly get 19-21 mpg. Of course that's on flat to slightly hilly roads in good weather/traffic conditions. But by the time I get there, and thru the mountains, the trip is usually 17.5-18.5 mpg for an average. Towing my Polaris Ranger I average 11.5-12 mpg at 60mph.

Yes, but it still makes less torque and in a truck that I tow with, that's what really counts for me.
I'm interested, how much are you looking to get for the intake and exhaust an is it a package deal or willing to separate.
