Default Extended Cab rear seat back catch: has anybody modified these little demons?

These catches are such a pain to release and make removing the seat back time consuming.

I'd like to make my seat back fast and easy to remove.

Wondering if anybody has modified theirs or if an improved aftermarket solution exists.

I am thinking I might be able to rig up a small cable that pulls the "tab" part towards the "hook" part.

That sucks, I was also thinking that they would be the obvious vendor to take this on...

The problem is even with making that bottom hook a quick release the top is hooked in on three separate spots to lift the whole back up and off so there's no folding down like the crew cabs... I've thought about it too but no dice..

Sorry I just realized I misread your comment. Yes mine has 3 hooks on the top and 2 clips on the bottom...
